Description
Molly Distinct Consult is looking for a Head-Teacher to join this school in Abuja to foster a healthy learning environment for their students.
Responsibilities
- Planning events to promote the school and its programs.
- Interviewing candidates for teaching positions and making hiring decisions based on the candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit with the school community
- Assisting with the implementation of new policies at the school and communicating with parents about any changes
- Overseeing the overall operation of the school, including hiring staff and overseeing their work performance
- Providing academic support to students who are struggling in a particular subject area
- Reviewing student progress and evaluating teacher performance on an ongoing basis to ensure that all students are receiving a quality education
- Ensuring that the school is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
- Developing curriculum and lesson plans that meet federal, state, and local standards for education
- Evaluating the effectiveness of teachers and other school staff in order to identify training needs and recommend appropriate disciplinary action.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head-Teacher
- Knowledge of school administrative processes and national educational regulations
- Hands-on experience with MS Office and education management systems
- Attention to detail
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Crisis management
- Ability to coach and inspire
- A teaching license is preferred
