During this period of saving, make it clear to your staff that the purchase of land is your topmost priority to avoid expenditures your school can manage without.
It is better if you approach the seller of the land you wish to purchase for the school and make your intention known with a signed legal document allowing you to pay in installments. Make attempts to see if the land can be given you on lease for use as you make payments in installments, some land sellers may accept your request.
Setting up a school on your own land is like giving a bird all the heavens to roam. You have all the confidence to make long term plans without fear of eviction. You will also save the money you would have spent on rent for other purposes.
