Molly Distinct Consult is looking for Class Teachers to join this vibrant, happy and successful school in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to children.
- Demonstrate activities to children.
- organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
- planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
- motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
- Arrange indoor and outdoor space to facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities, and safety.
- Organize and label materials, and display students’ work in a manner appropriate for their ages and perceptual skills.
- Confer with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons promoting learning, following approved curricula
- meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' development
- providing feedback to parents and carers on a pupil\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s progress at parents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' evenings and other meetings
- coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
- working with others to plan and coordinate work
- keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
- organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
- liaising with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in smaller schools
- working with parents to maximize their involvement in the school and the development of resources for the school
- meeting with other professionals like educational counselors, therapists etc. where necessary.
Qualifications
- B.Ed or B.Sc qualification
- TRCN Certification would be an added advantage
- Jolly phonics certification
- Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Should have a personal computer for E- learning purpose.
