WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ‘A PROFESSIONAL TEACHER’?

Overtime, especially in this side of the world, the meaning of the phrase ‘professional teacher’ or the view of people about professional teachers is misplaced. In other words, it is most times not what people think it is.

We hope you get a better opinion on this later on this post. ?

When you see a man or a lady/woman dresses in an official outfit, works in a big school in town and comes back with a a fat salary at month end.

Is that not what you call a professional teacher? ?

Or when you see somebody who tells you he’s a teacher and he drives the biggest car,
don’t you always assume that they are more professional than the ones you know who walk in a local school and take bikes to their homes after school? ?

Well, why we can of course say it is important to a teacher to be comfortable wherever they work (It is never a big deal for a teacher to drive a big car) we must also learn or know that those are not the qualities of a professional teacher.
